Well, Despite significant challenges - we did it - all of us. No rider was left behind! COVID postponed our event but not our resolve - despite some trepidation about how we could actually achieve such a feat. One kilometre at a time, all two hundred and thirty of them. Onwards and upwards and all that. It is amazing what can be achieved with such quality people in support - and an amazing peloton of determined and definitely mad cyclists. So why did we do it? To help police families when they are most at need. Simple. NSW Police Legacy provides psychological and trauma support, emergency financial help, education grants and reskilling, adventure camps for young legatees, social connection experiences and elder care, and much more. You can be part of this wonderful event without having to raise a sweat. Your support in the form of a donation, no matter how small, will be so very welcome. Please do whatever you can, knowing you too, can directly help families in need. We could all do with support sometimes, so if you have the capacity, extend some support their way. Your gift will be so very much appreciated. Thank you!

The willingness of people to take the time to consider a donation is always so humbling. Thank you for your support. As vulnerable cyclists on a significant highway during this very challenging event, we were incredibly well supported. Without that support - many of us would not have made it. Police Legacy provides crucial support to families in need - and your donation directly supports their wonderful work. We could all do with some support occasionally - thank you for yours!

To tell you the truth, I have been a little embarrassed to invite you to contribute. Of course the cause could hardly be more worthy for it is me that has been found wanting. I committed to this event months ago with exuberance to be part of something worthwhile whilst also being a serious challenge. With no training done however, despite good intention, the challenge seemed insurmountable. If it wasn't for such an amazing crew - it would have been!
Well, Finally all done and what an epic. 40 riders-230km/1700m of climbing, 36 degrees (ouch) with a wonderful light breezy tailwind the whole way. Thought tailwinds were a cycling myth that didn't exist in the cycling world! Amazing bunch who never said die, support crew of pros that kept us safe and ensured no rider was left behind and police escort - doesn't get much better. Thank you all for an amazing experience! Thank you Police Legacy for all that you do to support families in need.

Just committed to ride around 230km with a group of other tragic cyclists, from Inverell to Tamworth in one day - first week of September. More importantly though, it is an opportunity to raise awareness and some much needed funds for Legacy, who support families in need. Police Officers often face the worst society has to offer. Their families support them and we can support those families when the going gets tough. Every dollar counts - so please do what you can to show your support.
